Course

• You are studying the Eduqas GCSE Film Studies specification.
• You will sit two exams (Component 1 and Component 2) and submit one coursework production (Component 3).
  • Component 1 — Key Developments In US Film — is 90 minutes in length and is worth 35% of your Film Studies GCSE.
  • Component 2 — Global Film: Narrative, Representation And Film Style — is 90 minutes in length and is worth 35% of your Film Studies GCSE.
  • Component 3 — Production — requires you to work independently and is worth 30% of your Film Studies GCSE.
• Both exams assess your knowledge of the 6 films you will study throughout the course:
