Instructions

Both Component 1 and Component 2 will have instructions printed on the first page, which you should read and follow.

In both cases, however, you should:

  1. Ensure you identify which films you should be writing about!
  2. Answer questions in the order they are set. Stick very closely to the timings given on this website.
  3. Make detailed, described reference to key sequences in the films you have studied.
  4. Use film specific language whenever possible.
  5. Phrase your answers to emphasise directorial decisions and their effect on audience.
