Film Studies students are expected to routinely work independently outside the classroom.
All required learning material can be found on this website; all work produced by students should be submitted as a post on their blog.
A link to this website can be found on the Home Screen of students’ iPads and in our Outlook email group.
In the event that Internet access is unavailable, blog pages can be drafted offline or even on paper. </aside>

Guidelines

Short term
- Ensure class-related blog posts are thorough, detailed and up-to-date.
- Write independent blog posts about film-related topics of interest.
Medium term
- Monitor and watch department YouTube playlists.
- Practise filmmaking techniques in preparation for coursework submission (30% of qualification).
- Read additional learning resources related to the films on the curriculum.
- Read additional learning resources related to the Core Study Areas and Additional/Specialist Study Areas.
- Read exam advice, check out the model essay plans, read and practise past papers, read through exam mark schemes and examiners’ reports…
Long term
- Watch good films! </aside>
