• Each fortnight, one of our timetabled English lessons will be a "library lesson".
  • Library lessons will focus on:
    • Reading
    • Journaling
    • Researching
    • Broadening horizons
  • Library lessons will always end with homework (private reading), to provide material for journaling in the next library lesson. </aside>

• Your Reading Journal is a place for you to record what you have read, what you want to read in future, and your thoughts on your reading:
  • Write a review.
  • Illustrate and caption a scene or chapter.
  • Collect key quotations.
  • Create a collage of imagery.
  • Write a quiz for other readers.
  • Describe and illustrate a character.
  • Write a poem.
  • Draw a map of locations.
  • Write a letter to the author or a key character.
  • Design an alternative dust jacket.
