Each examined unit, approximately one per half-term following the initial induction period, will culminate in students completing a full past-paper set of questions in an appropriately titled blog-post. This will be marked by the class teacher, using exam board mark schemes, in a subsequent comment post. Teacher feedback will include a band, a mark, and suggestions for improvement. Students will blog every week, usually multiple times. The class teacher will read every post and comment on some posts. Comments will be posted as necessary and will be bespoke to individual needs — either to encourge or support. Different students in a cohort will receive comments on different blog posts. Students will complete and receive feedback on an internal past paper exam towards the end of Year 10, and a mock exam about halfway through Year 11. These will each allow students to understand their abilities in the most recently taught units.
